Updating address book outlook
They do for my colleague sitting next to me, so I don’t think it is a server misconfiguration or something like that.
(This could take several minutes) Step 2: Uncheck the box next to Download changes since last Send/Receive.
(This could take several minutes) Outlook shows the "Updating Address Book" status for a long time. Outlook has a throttling feature that slows the address book update when you are working in Outlook.
Normally, the offline global address book will be updated in a regular interval in Outlook, such as every 30 minutes. Now the Send/Receive Settings dialog box opens, please do as follows: Make sure that the Include the selected account in this group option is not checked in other email accounts, and click the OK button. You return to the Send/Receive Groups dialog box, please check the Schedule an automatic send/receive every x minutes option in the Setting for group section, specify the update interval among this option, and click the Close button.
But now you want to change its update frequency, any ideas? In the opening Send/Receive Groups dialog box, please click the New button. In the popping out Send/Receive Group Name dialog box, name the new group, and click the OK button. See screenshot: Note: It’s optional to check the Schedule an automatic send/receive every x minutes option in the When Outlook is Offline section, and specify the update interval among the option.
In fact, Outlook cached mode will continue to download the offline address book every 24 hours regardless of whether the option is enabled.
Note: To locate this option, follow these steps: On the Tools menu, point to Send/Receive, point to Send/Receive Settings, and then click Define Send/Receive Groups. When you click to select the Download offline address book check box and then click Address Book Settings, the Offline Address Book dialog box appears.
This can cause the “Updating Address Book” status appearing for a long time.
Outlook is helping you complete other activities and does not allow the address book update to interfere.
Rather than waiting 24 hours for Outlook to update the Offline Address Book on its own, you can force an update via the Send/Receive menu button.Tags: Adult Dating, affair dating, sex dating
